Overview
The IT Business Partner (ITBP) will serve as the strategic interface between IT and assigned business units and will work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide IT solutions that drive business goals. The ITBP will prioritize and align on demand for IT Services and Support, drive key project deliverables and manage project plans, provide business functional analysis, deliver regular and proactive communications, coordinate key IT changes with business function, and ensure successful delivery of IT Services. This specific role will have a primary focus on supporting Revenue Cycle Management business functions and external partners, inclusive of eligibility, billing, collections, and customer service. The IT Business Partner will report to the Sr. Director of Clinic Technology Solutions and will interface with all levels of the organization including executive-level, technology providers, and key external business partners.
Responsibilities
Act as a service broker between IT and ATI’s Revenue Cycle Management teams to understand key business functional challenges or opportunities and collaborate to find the best IT solutions, leveraging automation.
Lead the business prioritization and project requirements development process. Develop business requirements, specifications, and propose testing, support, and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives.
Assist in designing data or application function workflows, mock-ups, or necessary diagrams for business solutions team.
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop the vision, strategy, and achievable outcome-based roadmap for a portfolio of IT Services and Support.
Serve as primary point of contact for key IT initiatives and drive cross-functional projects and programs to ensure alignment on expectations and outcomes.
Conduct service reviews with business leaders to prioritize existing and emerging priorities and ensure ongoing alignment.
Manage inbound engagement (demand) and proactively educate and provide consultation on the IT service portfolio and IT solutions.
Provide technical guidance and thought leadership on technology service offerings with internal or external IT partners.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or healthcare related field.
Min Experience
Required:
3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or a similar role demonstrating business and IT collaboration
Experience designing workflows, requirements gathering, and measuring progress to target state outcomes
Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management software and business workflows
Preferred:
Experience developing target state solution designs, roadmaps, and project plans
Familiarity with ITIL / Service Management
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage and interact with both technical and business users of all levels
Ability to navigate and work in a highly ambiguous, unstructured work environment
Knowledge in IT service design and service delivery
Ability to frame and distill business and technology problems with a solution-oriented mindset and develop consultative, pragmatic technology-enabled solutions
Ability to anticipate emerging trends and risks and establish preemptive mitigation
Highly collaborative and able to solicit key inputs, data, and points of view
Ability to write requirements, map workflows, and manage project plans
Ability to provide delivery rigor and report scorecard / key initiative status to leadership
Licenses and Certifications:
- ITIL certification preferred
