Overview

Title: Ergonomic Consultant

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Status: Full Time

Hours: 40 per week; Monday-Friday day shift

This position incorporates project development, project implementation, internal and external client relations, education, and continuous improvement practices. Responsible for managing the project from inception, to define projects and drive them to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic actions for direction of client’s ergonomics program.

  • Interface with departmental leaders to seek buy-in and feedback, and to report on program KPIs.

  • Managing task lists with identified ergonomic risk to further problem solve risk mitigation strategies and the ability to prioritize projects,

  • Interface with employees, line supervisors, engineers, and leaders to follow-up on ergonomic projects and initiatives.

  • Document and write reports efficiently and completely, with a strong ability to integrate feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Learn to deploy new technology to include software and wearable technology.

  • Interface with corporate executives and departmental leaders to seek approval for projects, KPI’s and reports

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree inHuman Factors, Engineering, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Ergonomics, Safety, Nursing or Allied Health Profession

Min Experience

Required:

Preferred:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in an industrial setting

  • 3 years’ experience in ergonomic consulting core duties
