Sports Medicine Manager General Summary and Scope:
This position is responsible for leading their region through ATI’s mission, vision, and values to develop high performing Sports Medicine affiliates and consistently deliver growth and extraordinary customer outcomes. In this role, you will have a direct reporting relationship to your Division Director of Sports Medicine.
This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for carrying out the strategy and policies for your region which aligns to ATIs broader goals, including awareness of your region and overall program goals and metrics.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
Manage and lead a region of sports medicine affiliates, building a team culture which aligns with ATI’s mission.
Serve as a liaison between staff athletic trainer, affiliate administration, physicians, clinic management and Sports Medicine Division Director.
Individually coach and mentor each staff athletic trainer to plan, prioritize and ensure high quality comprehensive care is given to all athletes following best practice concepts.
Support professional development of staff athletic trainers to ensure high performance at each affiliate. This includes feeling comfortable in providing critical feedback, when necessary, annual performance discussions and ensuring staff compliance with timely and accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, communication, and hours for the region.
Develop strong relationships with Clinic Directors to ensure adequate referral flow and conversion to the clinics, with new and existing team physicians, with Sales Force partners and with each affiliate and staff athletic trainer ensuring company expectations of the ATI Way are being delivered on consistently.
Using data driven reports, this position will proactively identify underperforming metrics for the region and develop strategies for each staff outreach athletic trainer to close the gap.
Promote forward thinking mindset, actively provide, and execute on suggested changes to Division Director.
Actively assist in the on-boarding, development, and retention of the staff athletic trainers within the region.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college in athletic training.
4 years related experience.
2 years manager experience - Preferred
Maintain a valid and good standing Board Of Certification.
Maintain valid and good standing state licensure.
Ability to drive performance and motivate employees.
The candidate must possess a naturally curious and analytical mindset being laser focused on operating efficiencies.
Proficient in basic technology such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and feel comfortable reviewing reports and metrics
This position must work with a high sense of urgency and can communicate/execute both at the tactical and strategic levels.
Ability to travel to various affiliates or support center upon request.
Ability to work flexible schedule as needed.
