Overview
Title: Registered Nurse Occupational Health
Location: Westborough, MA
Status: Full Time
Hours: M-F 7:00 am-3:30 pm
Thisrole will provide case management services for an employer, embedded within the clinic per contract agreement per contract agreement. Perform clinical duties consistent to their education, certification and competency levels.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for end-to-end Case Management and oversight for the client site, communication and coordination across all relevant activities associated with workers compensation and/or personal disability claims
• Facilitate return to work and restriction/job modification management for leave of absence cases, inclusive of worker compensation, short- and long-term disability scenarios
• Establish and manage workflows and relationships with the ATI client, coordinate care with insurance and/or personal disability adjustors in claim strategy and business cost-savings initiatives
• Support the maintenance of provider networks to include pharmacy, diagnostic testing, durable medical equipment (DME), transportation, and on-going care as appropriate.
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant medical information; recommend physician reviews, independent medical exams (IME), second opinions, functional capacity exams (FCE) when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
Required License or Certificate:
- Licensed/certified RN
Preferred License or Certificate:
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
Required Experience:
- 2 years providing occupational health services or other related experience
Preferred Experience:
Experience with EMR, occupational health information systems
Experience with data tracking, analyzing and trending
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Reliable and efficient medical caseload management
Able to present on detailed information around patient care and outcomes
Highly organized, able to manage complex workflows with detail and accuracy
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, to balance complex needs of various internal and external parties with often competing priorities
Meet or exceed performance goals
Proficient in Microsoft programs
Technically effective operating in various health information systems
Reporting and presentation skills
